<p>The invention comprises compounds of formula <FORM:1016527/C2/1> where R1 is alkyl (1-7 C), R2 is halogen, R3 is halogen or sulphamyl, and the broken lines denote optional substituents; and salts with bases; and their preparation by treating an 8 - R2 - 7 - R3 - 3 - R1 - 4,1 - benzoxazepine - 2,5(1H,3H)-dione with hydrazine (the reaction proceeding via isolable ring-opened intermediates). Pharmaceutical compositions comprise compounds of the invention with carriers. Oral and parenteral administration of tablets, capsules, solutions, suspensions are mentioned, for use as diuretics, bronchodilators and hypotensives.</p> |
