PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an image processing method and an image processor having small circuit scale, achieving low electromagnetic interference (EMI) and high versatility. SOLUTION: The image processor that outputs multi-bit data includes: an output data processing circuit 10 dividing an output phase in the direction of transition of output data D[n] to D[n+7]; and an output clock phase changing circuit 40 that controls the output phase. The output data processing circuit 10 includes: a data transition determining section 13 that determines the direction of transition of internal output data DA[n] to DA[n+7] and outputs the determination result, and a phase changing means (AND gates 14 and 15, a phase control tool section 20, a selector 25, and a phase selecting section 30) that changes the phase of the internal output data DA[n] to DA[n+7] in accordance with the data values of the high-order bits in the internal output data DA[n] to DA[n+7] based on the determination result and outputs the output data D[n] to D[n+7].
