PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve in which a flow damming-pin is not warped, damaged or broken even when the flow damming-pin is made to enter into a runner part to the bottom to intercept a resin flow passage and the retainment of a molten resin flow or the generation of a turbulent flow can be restrained, and to provide an injection molding machine and an injection molding method. SOLUTION: The flow control valve is characterized in that the flow damming-pin is arranged in the runner part, except for corner parts, of a manifold for branching a resin to a cavity of a multi-point gate injection molding mold so that the flow damming-pin can be moved forward or backward with respect to the runner part from the lateral direction of the runner part at the angle almost perpendicular to the flow direction of the resin and the amount of the resin to be made to pass through the runner part is controlled by adjusting the length of the flow damming-pin to be made to go into the runner part. The tip of the flow damming-pin is formed to have a convex curved surface and the face of the runner part to be hit, on which the tip of the flow damming-pin is abutted when the flow damming-pin is made to go most deeply into the runner part, is formed to have a concave curved surface for receiving the convex curved surface of the tip of the flow damming-pin.
