A wireless power feeder (10) has a configuration in which an encapsulated endoscope (20) having a CCD (23) provided at the end portion in the long axis direction and a power receiving coil (21) for receiving power depending on the change of magnetic field in the long axis direction floats with the long axis direction thereof oriented vertically with respect to the surface of water (31) retaining in a stomach (30A) and has three pairs of coils (44 to 46) which are set on a subject (39) and generate magnetic fields in directions orthogonal to one another, a gravity sensor (16) which is set on the subject (39)and detects the direction of gravity, a coil selection unit (51) for selecting the coil which generates the magnetic field in the direction of gravity which is detected by the gravity sensor (16), and a driving unit (41) for applying current to the coil selected by the coil selection unit.
