<p>A method and apparatus for resource configuration of enhanced cell forward access channel (CELL_FACH) in multi-carrier system are provided in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: the radio network controller (RNC) determines the amount and the specific frequency information of the carriers of the resource in the enhanced CELL_FACH state in the cell, and notifies the Node B by high speed physical shared channel (HS-PSCH) reconfiguration message. The Node B establishes common MAC and EMAC flows at the frequency and allocates the channel resource at the frequency, then it transmits the channel resource information to the RNC by HS-PSCH reconfiguration response message. The solution of the present invention enables the reasonable resource allocation for users in CELL_FACH state, resolves the conflict of the unreasonable resource allocation, and improves the resource utilization ratio.</p> |
