Catalytic gas e.g. biogas, cleaning method for internal combustion engine, gas turbine and fuel cells, involves cleaning catalytic gas in fixed bed reactor from harmful microelements such as hydrogen sulphide, by catalytic reactions
摘要

The method involves cleaning catalytic gas in a fixed bed reactor (3) of different materials from harmful microelements such as hydrogen sulphide, halogenated and aromatic hydrocarbon and silicon compound, by catalytic reactions. The catalytic gas is heated to 300 degree Celsius by using an exhaust gas heat exchanger (2). Waste heat of an internal combustion engine is utilized for heating treatments. Layers and material selection are dependent on toxic substance to be removed. The cleaned gas is cooled by a gas cooler (4) to temperature required for a gas engine.
