The adaptor (1) has line adapters (5a, 5b), and a plug contact electrically connected with the line adapters in a housing part (2). The housing part is adjustably mounted together with the line adapters and the plug contact in a plug direction (S) relative to another housing part (4) that is attached to a connecting terminal. A cover (7) is guided to the housing parts such that the cover is partly turned from a position vertically in the plug direction during relative displacement of the former housing part in the plug direction to the latter housing part.
