PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a studless tire that has excellent handling performance on ice and snow, while simultaneously having an excellent fracture strength and excellent durability (chunking resistance). SOLUTION: The studless tire has a base tread formed using a rubber composition in which 1-10 pts.mass of a mixture of a zinc salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid and a zinc salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid is blended with respect to 100 pts.mass of a rubber component.
