<p>Degradation of the resistance to multipath interferences can be avoided, while leakage of modulated signals from the band thereof can be suppressed. A modulator apparatus comprises: a modulator that generates a modulated signal, which has a given frequency band, in accordance with an input signal for each of a plurality of symbols; a signal processor that removes, from a portion of the modulated signal including the symbol boundary, the components in the given frequency band to generate a modulated signal from which the desired components has been removed; and a subtracter that subtracts, from the modulated signal as generated by the modulator, the modulated signal from which the desired components has been removed, thereby providing the result of the subtraction.</p> |
