PURPOSE: A self-emissive transparent flat plate display device and a display device thereof are provided to display an image in the front glass by installing a self-emissive flat plate transparent display element between the front glasses of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A metal barrier wall(115) is formed on the top of a front side transparent glass substrate(103). A front side transparent glass substrate structure is formed by selectively coating the fluorescent substance(117) on the surface of the metal barrier wall. A rear side transparent glass substrate structure comprises a transparent sustain electrode(113). The rear side transparent glass substrate structure is arranged to be structured to be contact with the metal barrier wall. A glow discharge is induced by applying a voltage to the transparent sustain electrode. A vacuum ultraviolet ray generates the visible ray by stimulating the fluorescent substance.
