<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for compensating for the luminance deterioration of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The pixels fetch video signals from signal lines, in response to control signals supplied from scan lines to emit a light. A photosensor detects emission luminance of each pixel for outputting the corresponding luminance signals. A signal processing part 10 corrects the video signals, in response to the luminance signals output from the photosensor to supply the corrected video signals to a driver of a drive part. A panel partitions a screen part into a plurality of regions, and includes photosensors 1-6, by making them correspond to respective regions which detect the emission luminance of the pixels, belonging to the corresponding regions to output the corresponding luminance signals, and a selector 50 for switching the luminance signals output from the plurality of the photosensors 1-6 and supplies the signals to the signal processing part 10. The plurality of the photosensors 1-6 are collectively made into blocks by each prescribed number, and the signal processing part 10 receives the luminance signals in units of blocks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
