<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus provided with a detection means for detecting smoothness of transfer paper and which can suppress an occurrence of soiling of background in the transfer paper by performance of a mode (refresh mode) for consuming deteriorated toner before printing when coated paper is transported. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus performs the refresh mode (S3) which is the mode for consuming the deteriorated toner before printing when the coated paper as transfer paper is transported in the image forming apparatus of the electrophotographic method having a toner recycling means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
