PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate realistic release control in an acoustic piano, by a structure simulatively representing a physical tone generating mechanism of the acoustic piano.
SOLUTION: When at least one of key-on data, key-off data, released key position data, damper pedal position data, sostenute pedal-on data and sostenute pedal-off data is received by a receiving section 23, a virtual damper position generating section 24 generates a virtual damper position data based on the received data, and outputs it to an EG 29. The virtual damper position data simulatively represents the damper position which is provided in order to suppress string vibration in the physical tone generating mechanism of the acoustic piano. The EG 29 controls a release rate of a sound volume envelope signal based on only the virtual damper position data. The sound volume of the tone signal falls off according to the release rate based on the virtual damper position data.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
