PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle control device and the like reducing power consumption in a battery mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the vehicle control device 100 electrically controlling the vehicle using the battery 800 mounted on the vehicle, when it is determined that quick control of the vehicle is not necessary based on detected vehicle condition, a power supply amount for control is suppressed so as to reduce the current consumption of the battery 800. It is preferable that in a brake electronic control device supplying hydraulic pressure responding to demanded braking force by controlling power supply to a pressure intensifying valve intensifying the pressure of a wheel cylinder, a power supply amount to the pressure intensifying valve is suppressed when it is determined that quick execution of demanded braking is not necessary based on the detected vehicle condition.
