<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need for surface finishing by forming a clear welding margin. <P>SOLUTION: A handrail post 1 includes a mounting projection 10 which has a rectangular cross section and is formed on a lower end 2 of an outer surface 4 of the handrail post 1 (a). A circular through hole 22 is formed in a stringer 20 at a position corresponding to the mounting projection 10 (a). When the mounting projection 10 is inserted into the through hole 22, the mounting projection 10 comes into contact with an inner surface of the through hole 22, and a gap 26 is formed (c). A gap 25 is formed between a front end surface 12 of the mounting projection 10 and an opening edge of the through hole 22 and in the longitudinal direction of the mounting projection 10. The handrail post 1 is welded by using the gaps 25, 26 and fixed to an outer surface 21 of the stringer 20 of stairs to construct a mounting structure 30 of the handrail post (b, c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
