<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle, which improves safety of a vehicle at engine start. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ECT-ECU determines whether fixing occurs on a solenoid valve (Step S11). When the fixing is determined to be on a solenoid valve (Yes in Step S11), a signal for indicating the occurrence of fixing on the solenoid valve is transmitted to a remote start ECU through an in-vehicle LAN line (Step S12). The remote start ECU stores the received signal in an EEPROM as a start limit flag, and determines whether a start request to an engine is made by a remote start (Step S13). When the start request to an engine is determined to have been transmitted from the remote starter (Yes in Step S13), the start request to an engine is refused (Step S14).
