<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined passenger conveyor that does not cause lubrication oil to flow out to the outside of an oil pan, even if the number of water-tight welding sections is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Both ends in a width direction of the oil pan 10 formed by arranging a plurality of thin plates 10A-10D to a body frame 4 in an inclined direction are water-tightly welded W1, W2, notched parts 11A, 11B, 13A, 13B are formed on both sides in the width direction of a lower end of the upper thin plate, and the edge of the notched part and the lower thin plate are water-tightly welded W4-W7. With the structure, the water-tight welding sections W4-W7 stop the lubrication oil elevating and moving in a horizontal direction from an overlap position between the upper and lower thin plates that are not water-tightly welded, to drop the oil downward along the water-tight welding sections of the notched part, returning onto the lower thin plate, thus preventing oil from leaking to the outside of the oil pan.
