PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To versatilely apply a roll hemming to a plurality of workpieces different in the surface shape and the extension route of a flange. SOLUTION: The roll hemming device 10a has: a moving die 18 which abuts on the surface at the opposite side of a flange 17 to a workpiece having the flange 17 and supports the workpiece; a hemming roller 30 which bends the flange 17 while rolling; and a guide roller 32 which abuts on the back surface of the moving die 18 and rolls, and holds the flange 17 together with the hemming roller 30. The surface 44a of a portion for supporting the workpiece of the moving die 18 is made of an elastic material at least within a range where the flange 17 is bent. The hemming roller 30 and the guide roller 32 are moved with a working robot 22. The hemming roller 30 is moved back and forth independently of the guide roller 30 with an advancing/retreating means in accordance with selectable and reloadable sub-teaching data.
