PURPOSE: A sound effect set up method and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to establish sound effect with the matching of establish sockets and a sound effect module. CONSTITUTION: A control unit indicates a UI(user interface) in a display module(S2). If a socket and a sound effect module are matched according to a user input, the control unit activates the matched sound effect module(S3,S4). The control unit establishes sound effect with the combination of the sound effect module(S5,S6). The sound effect module generates the other sound effect. A mixer includes a plurality of sockets.
