<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge for securing the reliability of electrical communication between an ID chip and a body connector, with a simple configuration and to provide an image forming apparatus in which the process cartridge is mounted. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge 2 includes an information storage medium 26 having a contact point portion 27 coming into contact with the electric power feeding portion 31 of an image forming apparatus body 50, to be electrically connected and a seal member 25 protecting the contact point portion 27 of the information storage medium 26 and can be attached/detached to/from the image forming apparatus body 50. In the process cartridge 2, a part or the whole of the contract point portion 27 is covered by the seal member 25, before the process cartridge 2 is attached to the image forming apparatus body 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
