PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, stably forming an image of high quality. SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, the density of a patch image is detected by a density detecting means, and a control means sets an image forming condition for forming an output image based on the density detection result.
