<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an earthen pot, including a pot as disclosed in Patent Application No. 2004-381625, is troublesome and somewhat difficult to manufacture, and furthermore, simply dividing both pots, i.e., making two separate parts, cannot achieve a satisfactory pot and plate which must endure intense cooking under high heat followed by a constant draining action performed thereon. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pot used for cooking and as a serving dish, the divided type draining and drying plate (1) alone, or the divided type draining and drying plate (1) and pot includes: a joining or engaging part which allows separation from the pot body and also integration with the pot; and a plate for draining and drying ingredients, wherein a hole (2) is opened near a lowest part of the plate, which allows a drained soup (5) to be returned from the hole (2) to the pot to be reused.
