<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that prevents an erroneous input of an electrostatic pad during opening/closing operation and during reception of an incoming call or the like and is configured by freely openably/closably connecting a plurality of casings and having the electrostatic pad on the upper outside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electronic device, formed so as to be freely openable/closable, includes: an input means for inputting a command by touching it; an opening/closing start detecting means (S201) for detecting the start of an opening/closing operation; an opening/closing end detecting means (S205) for detecting the end of the opening/closing operation; and an input control means (S203, S207) for disabling the input by the input means during a period from the time when the start of the opening/closing operation is detected until the end of the opening/closing operation is detected.
