<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor cleaning apparatus maintaining high operability even at a location where the moving space of a lower traveling body is small. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The floor cleaning apparatus includes: a lower traveling body 2 having a pad 7 to be rotated by the driving force of a motor body 38; an arm 13 whose one end is rotatably connected to the lower traveling body 2; a first handle 21 fixed in an attitude perpendicular to the axis of the arm 13 and near the other end of the arm 13; a connecting rod 23 connected to the other end of the arm 13; and a second handle 24 disposed in parallel to the first handle 21 and fixed in an attitude perpendicular to the axis of the connecting rod 23 and at the front end of the connecting rod 23. The pad 7 is brought into contact with a floor surface and the lower traveling body 2 is moved in any direction through the first handle 21 or the second handle 24 to perform cleaning.
