<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the gravity center of a vehicle by lowering the gravity center of the entire engine mounted on the vehicle, and to suppress influence on a parts arranging space above the engine, in the engine equipped with an actuator for gear change. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The engine 13 includes a main shaft 28 and a counter shaft 29 that are a part of a transmission, an engine case 14A housing a crankshaft 21 and the transmission, and the actuator 124 for gear change attached to the engine case 14A and controlling gear change operation of the transmission.
