摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve animation characteristics and smoothness of a blur area in sight-line following by regulating lighting of a back light in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A driving circuit controlling turning on/off of the back light includes a cycle pattern generation means for generating a cycle pattern of back light-lighting periods which round by successive N frame periods when N is an integer of 2 or higher, a pulse number-setting means for setting the number of lighted pulses within the back light-lighting period, and a lighted pulse group generation means for generating and outputting a lighted pulse group based on the set back light-lighting period and the number of lighted pulses. When the rounding frame cycle is 2, the cycle pattern of the back light-lighting period shows reverse relationship between the lighting period and light-out period in the first frame period and those in the second frame period.
