<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hook piece having hooks with mushroom caps, having a high engagement rate, a long life for use, the engagement action with uniform nondirectionality, and high reliability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of hook models having V-shaped free ends are formed on the surface of the hook piece. After manufacturing the hook piece, V-shaped free ends of the hook models in the hook piece are pressed by rolls on polygonal heads.
