<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dismantling a boiler facility, which can ensure safety and reduce the construction period by dispensing with high-place work and mechanizing the work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for dismantling a boiler facility by cutting each part by use of heavy machinery equipped with a steel cutter at a boom leading end includes steps of: removing an air preheater and the periphery thereof; setting protective barriers formed of iron plates for surrounding three sides of the lower part of the boiler facility and a screen of iron plate for surrounding one side thereof while laying a cushion material of pit sand on the ground surface within the boiler facility; removing an economizer and the periphery thereof; removing a superheater and the periphery thereof; removing a boiler body and the periphery thereof from bottom to top; removing a double casing part; removing top girders; and removing a building frame structure.
