<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell type sun visor which easily and surely fit cores with each other, has a structure not to open (not to drop off), and is reduced in cost and enhanced in hand feeling, compared with a conventional art. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shell type sun visor has a frame fitting structure consisting of: a fitting claw A11 arranged on the inner side of either of a front and rear side plates; a fitting claw B12 arranged on the inner side of the other plate; and a guide-stopper rib 13. The end of the fitting claw A11 has a U-shape or an L-shape, the end of the fitting claw B12 has an L-shape, and the guide-stopper rib 13 has an erecting wall shape. A plate-like core material is configured by engaging the ends of the fitting claws A11 and B12 with each other so as to fit the front and rear side plates in each other.
