<p>The invention relates to a self-propelled ship comprising an on-board electrical supply network (5), a main electrical supply bus (11), propulsion means (3), a motor (4) driving the propulsion means (3), and means for powering them with electricity. According to the invention, the power supply means comprise a set (10) of electric capacitors with a capacitance rated such that when they are at their nominal electrical charge they can at least temporarily fulfil both the nominal power supply means of the on-board power supply network (5) and those of said electric motor (4) via said bus (11) and electrical connection means on board the ship to connect the set (10) of electric capacitors to another electrical supply network situated at a ship arrival and/or departure point so as to recharge the capacitors to their nominal charge and power the first supply network (5) during the stopover at the arrival and/or departure point.</p> |
