PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing recommendation query are provided to store the query for providing the recommendation query as graph type, thereby excluding the duplication of the query. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(270) receives a grapheme or syllable inputted by a user and provides recommendation query about the grapheme or syllable to a user. A candidate query generator(250) successively combines and all of the grapheme or syllable arranged in a route which is started by a grapheme or syllable, which is inputted, in query dictionary, and generates candidate query. A recommended query selector(260) select one recommendation query among at least one of the candidate queries, and provides the query to the user interface.
