<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for delivering hemostasis promoting material to a blood vessel puncture site. <P>SOLUTION: The system for delivering hemostasis promoting material to the blood vessel puncture site is a gauze handling system configured to receive an introducer sheath with a proximal end and gauze of a hemostasis promoting material.
