COMPOUND SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound semiconductor light emitting element and a method of manufacturing the compound semiconductor light emitting element.

SOLUTION: The compound semiconductor light emitting element 100 includes: an Si-Al substrate 101; protection layers 120 formed on top and bottom surfaces of the Si-Al substrate 101; and a p-type semiconductor layer 104, an active layer 105, and an n-type semiconductor layer 106 which are sequentially stacked on the protection layer 120 formed on the top surface of the Si-Al substrate 101. Also the method for manufacturing the compound semiconductor light emitting element 100, is disclosed.
