<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of automatically housing an operation unit after used. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes: a second operation unit 140 having a second input key 149 enabling input of characters; a CPU 160 for displacing the second operation unit 140 between an exposure position where the unit 140 is exposed to the outside of the image forming apparatus 100 and a housing position where the unit 140 is housed in the inside; and a human detecting unit 191 and a timer 192 for detecting the completion of the second operation unit 140 positioned on the exposure position. When the human detecting unit 191 and the timer 192 detect the completion of the second operation unit 140 positioned at the exposure position, the CPU 160 displaces the second operation unit 140 from the exposure position to the housing position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
