<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector having a simple structure for cost reduction and size reduction, capable of properly detecting card-ejection operation, by securing sufficiently a long delay time. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector is equipped with: a housing for accommodating a card with a terminal member; a connector furnished to the housing intended for making contact with the terminal member of the card; a biasing member for biasing the card in a direction opposite to that of card insertion and hold the card in a locked position; a card guidance arrangement for ejecting the card through a bias force of the biasing member, by moving the card toward the opposite direction of insertion if and when a push action is made to the card, by pushing in the same further from the card lock position; a card detection switch for detecting that the card is located, at least in between the locked position and a motion terminal point of the card and; a card-ejection operation detecting switch for detecting that the card is located between a further back side, in the card-insertion direction of the locked position and the motion terminal point of the card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
