PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid composition having excellent heat stability, especially excellent flame retardancy, to provide a method for manufacturing the composition, and to provide a molded product of the composition. SOLUTION: The composition includes 100 pts.wt. resin component (component A) containing 5 to 95 wt.% polylactic acid (A-αcomponent) and 95 to 5 wt.% aromatic polyester (A-βcomponent), 0.001 to 5 pts.wt. phosphono fatty acid ester (component B), 0.01 to 5 pts.wt. phosphate metal salt (component C), 1 to 100 pts.wt. at least one flame retardant (component D) selected from the group consisting of a phosphorus-based flame retardant (component D-1), a nitrogen-based flame retardant (component D-2), and a metal hydroxide compound-based flame retardant (component D-3), and 0.001 to 10 pts.wt. terminal blocking agent (component E).
