FUEL NOZZLE ASSEMBLY USED IN GAS TURBINE ENGINE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel nozzle (400) configured to send a fluid towards a combustion chamber (128) defined within a gas turbine engine (100). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuel nozzle (400) includes: a first hollow tube (420) fabricated from a first material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion; and a second tube (410) fabricated from a second material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion different from the first coefficient of thermal expansion. The second tube (410) is coupled within the first tube (420) such that the first tube (420) substantially circumscribes the second tube (410), wherein the second tube (410) thermally expands approximately at the same rate as that of the first tube (420) during fuel nozzle operation.
