<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device quickly resetting a lock body without using a cam. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a movable body 6 is at a first position, an engaging part 7b of the lock body 7 and an engaging part 6d of the movable body 6 are engaged with each other. When rotating the movable body 6 positioning at the first position, a lock support 9 is rotated, resisting the rotating force of a compression-torsion spring 11, to move the lock body 7 toward the lock support 9, and the engagement of the engaging part 7b of the lock body 7 with the engaging part 6d of the movable body 6 is released, and the engaging part 6d of the movable body 6 slides on a cam surface 8a of a fixed body 8. On the other hand, after the engaging part 6d of the movable body 6 passed through the engaging part 7b of the lock body 7, the compression-torsion spring 11 moves the lock body 7 toward the movable body 6 and rotates the lock body 7 relative to the lock support 9, and the lock body 7 is thereby supported by the lock support 9.
