<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a frequency converting circuit with a circuit size decreased and a power consumption reduced; a receiving device; and a transmitting device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The frequency converting circuit for mixing a frequency f1 of an input signal S1 and a given frequency f0 to produce an orthogonal output (four-phase output with a phase difference of 90°) includes: an oscillating part 10 oscillating at the given frequency f0 and producing an orthogonal output; and a current source part 20 for driving the oscillating part 10 with the current value determined on the basis of the input signal.
