PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of lengthening a battery duration time without spoiling the design of the digital camera. SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 has: an imaging element 102 that images an object to generate an image data; a transparent solar battery 104 that functions as an optical filter which passes visible light to make the imaging element 102 receive the visible light, and converts ultraviolet light 116 into electric power; and a charging circuit 108 that charges the electric power converted by the transparent solar battery 104 in a battery 106.
