ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An organic electro luminescent display device is provided to improve luminous efficacy and the color coordinate by forming the thickness of a functionality protective film or an organic luminescent layer differently according to a sub pixel. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(110) comprises a display unit(AA) with a plurality of sub pixels. A driver unit(160) provides a driving signal to a device located on the substrate. A pad unit(170) connected to an external circuit board transfers all kinds of signals from outside. The sub pixel is made up of an active matrix type and a passive matrix type depending on the driving method. The driver unit comprises a data driver unit and a scan driver which supply data signals and scan signals to the sub pixel. The data driver unit produces data signals in reference to a horizontal synchronizing signal. The scan driver unit produces scan signals and control signals in reference to a vertical synchronizing signal. A functionality protective film is formed to cover the sub pixel of the display unit.
