ORGANIC PIEZOELECTRIC BODY, ULTRASONIC RESONATOR, ULTRASONIC PROBE AND ULTRASONIC IMAGE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic piezoelectric body and an ultrasonic resonator which are excellent in piezoelectric characteristics and processability: to provide an ultrasonic probe giving an ultrasonic image detector capable of obtaining a high-resolution image: and to provide the ultrasonic image detector capable of obtaining a high-resolution image.

SOLUTION: The organic piezoelectric body is poly(thio)urethane having a repetitive unit represented by formula (1) or poly(thio)urea having a repetitive unit represented by formula (2), wherein in the formulas (1) and (2), R1, R2and R3denote alkylene group of 2-4C, and X denotes an oxygen atom or sulfur atom.
