The required power Pe* of the engine is set to gradually decrease using the set annealing coefficient &tau; (S140). When the required power Pe* is a fuel injection stop power Pstop or larger, the engine and two motors are controlled so that the required power Pe* is output from the engine (S150-S170 and S200-S230).
