<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus 6 which supplies developer to a photosensitive drum (image carrier) 3 to visualize a latent image with the developer, in which pressing of a developing sleeve 41 to the photosensitive drum 3 is stabilized while keeping rotational speed of a developer feeding member 42 regardless of rotational speed of the developing sleeve 41. <P>SOLUTION: Drive transmissions of the developing sleeve 41 and the developer feeding member 42 are carried out through paths which are independent from each other to transmit the drive to them respectively from both ends in a longitudinal direction. In such a case, gear arrangement to make forces by a gear apply in a direction for stabilizing the pressing of the developing sleeve 41 to the photosensitive drum 3 is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
