摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means suitable for fluorescent labeling or fluorescent imaging of a specific biomaterial in a biological sample. SOLUTION: In this rare earth-containing ceramics nanoparticles (RED-CNP) with a modified surface, a block copolymer shown by formula (I): PEG-block-poly(carbo) äwherein, in the formula (I), PEG shows a segment containing a poly(ethylene glycol) chain whoseα-terminal may be modified, and the poly(carbo) shows a polymer chain segment containing a repeated unit having a carboxyl group on a side chain}, and a biomolecule having optionally target directivity to a specific biosubstance are immobilized on the particle surface through a polymer chain containing the repeated unit having the carboxyl group. Flocculation between each nanoparticle in a physiological condition is impeded by steric repulsion of the PEG chain, and also adsorption of a non-target biomaterial can be suppressed.
