摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring a precise ignition temperature of fuel. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the ignition temperature includes the steps of heating a tube 1 with an internal passage 11 of a diameter smaller than a quenching diameter at normal temperature so as to increase the temperature continuously up to the ignition temperature of a premixed gas G or greater in the flow direction of the premixed gas G, supplying the premixed gas G to the tube 1 at a flow rate satisfying conditions that a flame formed in the internal passage 11 of the tube 1 is stable and the formed position of the flame is not affected by the velocity of the premixed gas G, detecting the position of the flame formed in the internal passage 11 of the tube 1, and calculating the ignition temperature of the premixed gas G from the detected result and the temperature profile pre-stored in the longitudinal direction of the tube 1 when the premixed gas G is made to flow.
