PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change timing for switching signal transmission and reception arbitrarily by transmitting a signal from one to the other without any malfunction, even is signals are inputted from both sides, in two-way communication. SOLUTION: This communication device is provided with a first JK-type flip-flop (FF) for receiving a first input signal at a J input, receiving an inverted signal of the first input signal at a K input and outputting a first output signal; and a second JK type FF for receiving a second input signal at an J input, receiving an inverted signal of the second input signal at a K input and outputting a second output signal. A clock which is to be inputted to a NAND gate 12 is replaced by an inverted signal of the Q-output of the second JK type FF; a clock to be inputted to a NAND gate 13 is replaced by an inverted signal of the second input signal; a clock to be inputted to a NAND gate 22 is replaced by the inverted signal of the Q-output of the first JK type FF; and the clock to be inputted to a NAND gate 23 is replaced by the inverted signal of the first input signal.
