PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boat having oars allowing forward rowing even in the advancing direction, allowing easy rowing, and allowing easy putting paddle portions in and out of water. SOLUTION: A supporting stay 9 is installed at the center between the port and the starboard of a boat 1, the bases 3 of oars 2 arranged on each port side are pivotably supported by the supporting stay 9, and a grip 6 is provided at the intermediate close to the base 3 of each oar 2. The grip part 6 is provided on a substantially vertical surface in the longitudinal direction of each oar 2, and forms a frame body having a parallel part 61, an inclined part 62 in the right/left direction and a vertical part 63 in the longitudinal direction of each oar 2.
