<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound volume controller for promptly adjusting a sound volume to the maximum level. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When an exclusive key 55 is pressed by a user, a sound volume setting part 541 sets the sound volume of sound signals to an upper limit value and sets a radio unit to the maximum sound volume mode. In this case, the sound volume setting part 541 stores the sound volume set immediately before setting the maximum sound volume mode in a RAM. Then, when the exclusive key 55 is pressed again by the user, the sound volume setting part 541 returns the sound volume of the sound signals to the sound volume stored in the RAM.
