<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of measuring curvature of a long hollow body, measuring the degree of curvature of a long hollow body such as a utility pole with a simple apparatus, and easily measuring the degree of curvature irrespective of the installation place of the long hollow body without requiring the installation of extensive facilities. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A vertically suspended linear member 5 suspended downward by own weight from the inner side of the top part of a utility pole 1 or from the vicinity of the top part inside the utility pole is provided. When the vertically suspended linear member 5 abuts against the inner circumferential wall of the utility pole 1, the distance h from the top part 1a of the utility pole 1 to the abutment part of the vertically suspended linear member 5 is detected to detect the degree of curvature of the utility pole 1 from the distance.
